Mission
If you or someone you know is experiencing miscarriage, stillbirth, loss after birth, or a sensitive adoption situation, please reach out.
I provide free photography and emotional support for families navigating some of the most delicate and tender moments—whether through loss or life-changing transitions.
You are not alone. I will do my best to be there to preserve your memories with care, dignity, and deep respect.
-

Donations
This service is offered at no cost to families. Donations and tips are welcome and help cover things like equipment upkeep, editing time, and outreach—but donations are never expected or required.
Giving does not affect the level of service, priority, or care you receive, whether you're a paying client or part of my volunteer sessions.
If you feel led to support this work, I’m deeply grateful. Your generosity allows me to continue offering these memories to families in their most tender moments.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
I do help with styling! You can always email me for advice, but I do offer a client styling guide, as well as a client closet.
-
Prints and albums come with certain packages, but I offer additional prints and albums. I am also happy to recommend some of my trusted printing vendors for your specific needs.
-
My goal is to have the most natural and fun session possible by giving prompts instead of poses. But for those with insecurities, I can tailor the prompts to best suit you, or instruct you in posing. Whatever makes you the most comfortable!
-
Any retouching is to help you look your best. I remove distractions like trash cans in the background, bugs, and large specks on your clothing. I (very lightly) whiten teeth, smooth skin, and remove any acne or redness that would not be there in two weeks time. I do not reshape your body or remove any scars.
-
I offer black & white photos for every gallery. For some sessions it is even better than color! I absolutely love using black & white for birth sessions because it helps focus on the emotion in the middle of chaos. In compassion photography, b&w is often best to remember because it allows families to remember the love and connection, without the distraction of the hospital environment.
-
The first three weeks are a blur, but these photos often become the images that end up framed in homes, shared with grandparents, and shown to the child years later. They will only ever be this tiny once, and professional photos mean you don’t have to worry about lighting, posing, or remembering to take photos when you’re running on two hours of sleep.
