The Experience
My newborn sessions are relaxed, natural, and baby-led. Rather than expecting your baby to perform for the camera, we make space for your baby to simply be a baby.

In-home newborn photography lets us document this season exactly where it's happening.
I'll look for the best available light and work within the spaces that feel meaningful to you. You don't need a Pinterest-perfect nursery or a house that looks like a magazine.
A little clutter is part of having a newborn.
We'll make photographs around it.
Outdoors
Outdoor newborn photography is about the feeling of this season. The quiet mornings, soft light, and time spent together outside.
We'll use the landscape, the weather, and whatever light the day gives us. The setting doesn't need to be perfect. It can be simple, familiar, and raw.
The goal is to make photographs that feel honest to this time in your life, with room for movement, connection, and all the small moments in between.
Studio
Studio newborn photography keeps things simple and comfortable, with the focus on your baby and the details that are easy to miss.
Soft fabrics, natural textures, tiny hands and feet, sleepy expressions, and the way a newborn fits into your arms. The studio is kept comfortable for little ones, whether that means keeping things warm and cozy or a little cooler when needed.
There is no need to worry about the weather or cleaning your home before your session. Nothing elaborate is needed. The simplicity of the studio leaves room for the small details to be noticed and remembered.

Come to relax and enjoy your baby. I will help with outfit and self care prep before hand.

When should we book?
The short answer: as early as you'd like.
I recommend reaching out during pregnancy, ideally during your second or early third trimester. We'll reserve a tentative window around your due date and finalize the session once your baby arrives.

When should I schedule my newborn photos in Augusta?
Most families book in their second or third trimester, setting a temporary session date as their due date.
What should we wear?
Soft neutrals, natural textures, and comfortable clothing photograph beautifully.
Linen, Cotton, Knits, Creams, Warm neutrals, Soft earth tones, Simple patterns.
For your baby, less is often more. A simple onesie, swaddle, or bare skin can be beautiful.
