Katie is a graphic designer, photographer, and doula whose work supports public service and education. With experience spanning brand design, photography, product design, prints, books, animations, data visualization, characters, and multimedia art, her practice remains simple and concise – designed to educate and connect.

  • Bachelor of Fine Arts at The University of Georgia in 2025

  • “Incandescence: Fall 2025 BFA Capstone Exhibition”

  • Redcoat Band at UGA

  • Accepted to a data visualization internship at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency in summer 2025, acquiring top secret security clearance

  • Photos published in Chasing Light Magazine three times (issue 244 in 2024, issue 283 in 2025, and issue 294 in 2025)

  • Designer in campaign for first time runner of the House of Representatives

  • UGA Redcoat media team in 2023

  • First logo design in 2020 for top home security agency in Georgia

  • Katie was born in 2003 on a military base in North Carolina, moved to Alaska, and then grew up in Augusta, Georgia. She is obsessed with all things penguins, anthropology, and the weather channel. Katie studied biology, museum practices, atmospheric sciences, and psychology. She grew up in a military family, and quickly grew a passion for public service and data visualization. She has always been the babysitter and nanny of her large family. In 2024, her family was exposed to the life of adoption, pushing her work to be more adoption, child, and birth focused. Now, Katie is making an effort to support public service through her works, whether it be disaster relief, nutrition education, adoption education, photography for parents grieving loss, or museum based works.
